Fault-tolerant transceivers
10 Mbps to gigabit · redundant paths · automatic failover
These Ethernet transceivers connect equipment to a primary network path and a backup. If the active link fails or data stops flowing, they automatically switch traffic to the backup. Traffic returns to the primary path when it recovers.
Features
- Switches paths when a link goes down or stops carrying data
- Requires no additional drivers or software on the connected equipment
- A bypass preserves the primary connection if the transceiver loses power
- Models range from 10 Mbps to gigabit, with standalone and rack-mount options
- Deployed in medical, banking, industrial-control, telecom, and defense networks
What we did
We helped EtherCom Corporation select hardware, review schematics, develop firmware, and test the transceivers.
