This Privacy Statement explains how Cooljackal LLC ("Cooljackal", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with this website (cooljackal.com). Privacy and security are core to how we build products, and the same philosophy shapes this website: it is a static site that collects as little as possible.

Who we are

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information through this website. It is a static site: it has no analytics, no tracking or advertising cookies, no account system, and no forms that store your data.

There are two limited exceptions:

• If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, along with anything else you choose to include.
• Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and operational purposes. We do not use this data to identify you.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal information (such as health, biometric, or financial account data), and we ask that you not send such information to us by email.

2. How we use information

We use the limited information above only to:

• respond to and manage your enquiries;
• operate, maintain, and secure the website; and
• comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not participate in any advertising network, and we do not sell, rent, or monetize your information.

3. Cookies

We do not set advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the site securely; these are not used to profile you. If we ever introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies, we will update this statement and, where required, request your consent before they are used.

4. Hosting and third-party services

The website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting (Google LLC), which processes the technical/log data described above on our behalf in order to deliver and secure the site. Its handling of that data is also governed by Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Because our hosting provider operates in the United States and other regions, technical data may be processed outside your home country.

We share information only with this provider, where required by law or legal process, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this statement.

5. Data retention

We retain email correspondence for as long as necessary to maintain our business records and to meet our legal, contractual, and audit-related obligations. Because such correspondence may be required for these purposes, we may retain it indefinitely. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider on a rolling basis for security and diagnostics and are then deleted or aggregated.

6. Security

We serve the site over encrypted HTTPS connections and limit access to any information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. 8. Children's privacy

The website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time — for example, if we add analytics in the future. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will revise the "Last updated" date accordingly. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to highlight them.
